Need A New Crane....?

The bigger they are...the harder they fall! Crews were trying to install a fiberglass pool in the backyard when the crane came crashing down onto the house, causing the truck to tip up in the air. The crane company said that a computer error was to blame for the...mishap. Luckily, nobody was injured and the fiberglass pool only sustained a small crack!

Truckers Fight For Freedom

 

Gentlemen, start your engines! On Friday October 11th, thousands of angry truckers will roar into Washington D.C. as part of a three-day protest to "shut down America" and "restore our Constitutional Republic." In a massive effort to fight low wages, fuel prices, President Obama and the government shutdown the "Truckers Ride For Constitution" aim to tie up Interstate 495, circling the capitol in their big rigs driving 55mph.

Has a platform that lifts a person up into the air

Cherry Picker
The person is lifted up in the air with a motorized system.(This Picture Has a Cherry Picker Bucket on a Niftylift)

Aerial Lifts (similar to a cherry picker)

Generally uses hydraulics to lift the person up.Commonly used for forestry. Picture above has a forestry package on it.

Boom Trucks

Has an arm that distributes the weight of whatever it is holding on the other end of the arm

Digger Derrick

Instead of going into the air, this truck goes into the ground. It precisely digs into the ground.
